The Group has received feedback today (27th May 2025) about teething troubles on the new bus routes.
One key issue has been T5 buses stopping in Fordham. Following discussion with Brian Clifford, Managing Director of A2b Travel Group, it has become clear that there was an initial miscommunication between the Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority (CPCA) Public Transport Services and the A2b Travel Group (NOT this group, but the bus company running the service) regarding the routing of the T5 bus in Fordham. This was resolved early today (27th May) and the T5 is now stopping as per the timetable in Fordham. A second stopping point on Market Street, Fordham will be set up in the coming days to enable easier access to the bus for Fordham residents. The A2b bus company are committed to delivering a great new service and Brian himself is on the T5 bus route today to ensure it is a success.
A2b have invested in two new buses to run the T5 route.
The AtoB1102 Group will publish the new Fordham stopping point as soon as it is agreed.
Please note – the routes for the new buses are set by the CPCA, not the bus companies, so any feedback / concerns with the new routes should be directed to the CPCA and not the bus operators and their drivers. The CPCA have aleady committed to a review of the services in July once a few weeks has elapsed to gather feedback.
