As you will probably be aware, the B1102 corridor was promised a revised set of bus routes as part of Dr Nik Johnson’s Mayoral Precept funded improvements to bus services.
The planned introduction of a T4 and T5 route are covered in other updates on the website.
We were all informed in January 2025 that, for reasons which were not quite clear (there being two stories – one from the CPCA and one from Stagecoach), the original tendering process had fallen through. Below, we provide a link to the CPCA position:
The latest update from the CPCA Public Transport Services is as follows:
“The latest update is that the opportunity for bidders to come forward closed on 24 February 2025 and the next steps of the process are now being undertaken and, assuming the procurement is successful, routes should be running from May or June 2025.” – dated 26th February 2025.
