Travel Survey

We are delighted to announce that our Travel Survey is now live! This survey has been designed to enable the A to B1102 Group to better understand the travel needs of people living along & around the B1102 route from Fordham through to Stow-cum-Quy including Bottisham & the Wilbrahams.

We will use the information and feedback to lobby our District & County Councils (including the Cambridge & Peterborough Combined Authority and the Greater Cambridge Partnership) for improvements required to bus services, road improvements & the development of Active Travel (Walking & Cycling) in our area.

The questionnaire should take around 10 – 12 minutes to complete. No personal data (GDPR) is collected, only your postcode (see below).

The Aims of our Travel Survey

Our work to-date has demonstrated the lack of up-to-date information about the travel needs of our communities – where we need to travel to, how we travel and when.

This type of information is crucial when campaigning for improvements in our road infrastructure, for improvements to bus services and other public transport infrastructure. For example, currently, the Combined Authority is conducting a review of bus travel. We want to input into this review, informed by your feedback!

We are all being encouraged to explore alternatives to car travel as our roads become more and more congested, yet many of the initiatives you have seen are designed / developed on limited actual information about where people want and need to go.

Our survey explores our community’s travel needs, it explores how you travel today, how and where you want to travel in the future.

Please join the 300 people who have already completed the survey online. Paper copies will be available in all our villages (see below).

No personal data is collected (GDPR). As part of our work, we will share data output from the survey with public organisations including our District & County Councils and the Combined Authority
